At an early stage this position will be based in Madrid, having to travel overseas frequently. After this first stage there will be a long-term international assignment in any of the international projects Ferrovial currently has.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Plans and oversees geotechnical field explorations and soil remediation programs.- Manages both internal and external teams of experts.- Performs visits to the working site to oversee geotechnical works and construction activities.- Reviews geotechnical information of different projects during the bidding stage providing technical assistant.- Prepares geotechnical reports about building, roads and railway projects.- Performs soil-structure analysis, assisting in the design of shallow and deep foundations and earth retaining structures.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Civil Engineering or similar.- 5 to 10 years' experience in underground works- High English level- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Problem solving skills.- Demonstrated analytical skills.- Willingness to travel and relocate.#J-18808-Ljbffr
