Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions.Come and join us to create the future together!What you'll do The role purpose is to strengthen Vodafone's corporate R&D group in the domain of Quantum Computing for the following aims:to investigate telco application use cases that can benefit from quantum computing, relevant vendors and enabling technologies where quantum applications and related software can make a difference to Vodafone's cost base and revenue opportunitiesto drive the engagement with Vodafone business domains and partners to identify and agree new collaboration opportunities, and to test, prototype, and evaluate new solutions, and benchmark them against existing classical alternativesto explore software application & solution design and technical workflows enabled by quantum algorithms, by quantum-related software techniques, tools and middlewareto explore, shape and prototype hybrid classical / quantum cloud computingto participate in projects exploring the migration of networks and systems to quantum-safe statusThe successful candidate will join a multi- disciplinary group and shall drive the collaboration with teams inside the company and with technology partners
