Quality Site Director

Role: Quality Site Head
Our client requires a Quality Site Director be based in their manufacturing plant in Greater Madrid, Spain, the Quality Site Head will have a double reporting, one directly into the Vice-President of Quality and a second reporting to the BU head of the site, and oversees a team of 60 people. The role has 4 direct reports. The candidate will be part of Management team of the site.
The Quality Director will be responsible for overall site quality including QA and QC
Main point of contact for regulatory inspections and customer audits
Responsible for site improvement projects
Skills (technical)
Minimum 10 years GMP experience (essential)
Experience in senior Quality role (essential) for at least 3-5 years
Experience in production role (essential)
Aseptic knowledge, either hands on or theoretical (essential)
Previous CDMO experience (desirable but not essential)
FDA not required, Spanish authority a bonus
Skills (soft):
Ability to deal with highly pressurised environment and high intensity
High level of communication skills and transparency. Direct
English is essential. Must be able to communicate in Spanish fluently with the lower ranks of the site so at least as a minimum there must be a desire to learn Spanish intensively quickly.
Cooperative but decisive
Team player with ability to make quick decisions when necessary
Strong influencing skills
High levels of pragmatism
