Nutreco has two business lines: Skretting, a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions, and Trouw Nutrition, specializing in animal nutrition.As a Quality Operations Manager, you will contribute to continuous improvement and quality compliance in manufacturing.
You are responsible for establishing quality process controls with tolerances and limits to machinery and products, working closely with other functions and quality managers in factories to implement quality standards and improve processing performance.About The RoleResponsibilities:Support implementation of the quality management system in factories, creating effectiveness and efficiency through standardization and best practice sharing.Establish quality process controls with tolerances and limits to machinery and products to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Participate in improvement projects in operations to enhance processing performance.Identify, define, and monitor relevant KPIs and indicators of quality performance in factories.Analyze quality objectives to establish corrective measures for undesired deviations and identify trends for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.Skills and ExpertiseQualifications:Bachelor's degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or related field.At least 5 years of proven quality experience in a quality role with knowledge of feed safety law.Good proficiency in both Spanish and English, with Portuguese as an advantage.Willingness to travel in Spain and Portugal.Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with leadership abilities to influence and motivate others.Why You Will Love Working with UsGlobal Benefits:A full-time position in an international, dynamic environment.Competitive remuneration package, private health insurance, and 26 vacation days with flexibility.Opportunities for professional growth within Nutreco and the broader SHV group.A flexible work environment with the option to work from home several days per week.Local Benefits:Subsidized meals in our canteen.Reduced working hours on Fridays and over the summer.Regular company and team events.Next Steps:We value a seamless candidate experience and aim to respond within 10 business days.
