About the role Please note that this is a 9 month fixed term contract and is based in Granada
Ensures the administration of the Company's Quality, HACCP, Health, Safety and Environmental preventative program within a defined segment of the organization.
Drive the Kerry-path for the site strategy in Quality, Health, Safety & Environment and, as part of your job, be seen to be the subject specialist as mentor for management team.
Responsible for dealing with customers, operators and suppliers on issues relevant to the assigned area.
Manages procedures, statistical techniques; design or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; analyzes production and service limitations and standards; recommends revision procedures; conduct training on relevant concepts and tools; interfaces with all other functional units within the company and with customers on issues relevant to the assigned area.
Key responsibilities Provide support to the Business Managers and maintain an active role in functions involving Kerry's customers.
Assess customer satisfaction by analyzing product acceptance levels and issues forward in the supply chain.
Identify and drive preventive and corrective action to increase our customer satisfaction (including Customer complaints management)
HSE improvements and regulatory compliance
Attend assurance companies and its audits and requierements.
Promote risk assesment and follow up of the consequent action plan.
Continuously check for the regulatory modifications.
Drive the design and application of performance monitoring systems in the Company to improve performance visibility and accuracy, with special attention to Manufacturing metrics (Key Performance Indicator) and QHSE metrics in particular; constantly assist the other functions in managing their metrics.
Drives and manages the preventive and corrective actions systems to improve the performance of the Company internal processes (including accidents and non-conformity management)
Support current products productions driving issues solving and continuous improvements.
Assess risk status of raw materials and establish testing/release criteria.
QHSE System Management
Drive the application of the Company QHSE Policies in the local Sites.
Coordinates the execution of Quality programs and certification.
Manages the QHSE system processes, including QHSE assessment and audits, documentation control, corrective and preventive actions management.
Documentation Management
Manages the development, administration and continual improvement of the documentation control process:
Manages the process for issue, approval, archival, storage and retrieval of documentation (procedures, work instructions, visual aid, run-card, etc.).
Manages a document numbering system and a cross-reference index that assures easy access to information upon request.
Manages the development of documentation standards that are efficient and effective for Kerry and that facilitate adherence to Quality Systems requirement
HACCP Management
Manages the Company compliance to the HACCP System and Laws
Audits
Conducts periodic Audits in order to verify Departments complaints to QHSE.
Manages customers, government and certification bodies audits.
Qualifications and skills Experience in the specific function and/or in other inherent departments.
University Degree. Pharmaceuticals, Food or Chemical Engineering preferred.
Health and safety complementary studies are a must.
Environmental experience is needed.
Experience in multinational company, with specific group standards.
Knowledge of Quality and Hygiene Standards, documentation management, change management processes and Systems management (ISO / FSSC / BRC / IFS or other type of certifications).
Knowledge of HACCP system and principles
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP Applications.
Demonstrated project management skills for the development and implementation of process improvements.
Awareness of all regulatory issues relevant to the job
Awareness of all health, safety and environmental issues.
Knowledge on how to conduct an Audit
Good English Language, both oral and written
