Role Purpose:
A Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring all incoming items for storage pass the required specifications and consistently monitor and enforce the company's quality standards. Additionally, the inspector supports the QA Supervisor on the source of any defects to ensure that future items undergo necessary improvements, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the department's structured processes.
Responsibilities
General:
Maintain ongoing/good communication with other departments of the company and with other related groups of companies or affiliates.
Participate in various pieces of mandatory training provided and required by the company such as Safety Training, DQMP, SWA, HR learning and development programs, and Food Safety Training.
Effectively follow the company's standard operating procedures and policies.
Quality Assurance:
Perform regular inspections of all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for delivery based on customer standards.
Check and inspect all items and provide final disposition if products will be accepted or rejected.
Record all activities relating to product inspection, daily walkthrough, and highlighted nonconformities.
Conduct truck inspection and accreditation based on set standards.
Check personnel hygiene of delivery helpers and truck condition prior to receiving deliveries.
Conduct daily walkthrough in accordance with Good Warehousing Practices, product quality, and food safety standards.
Document inspection outcomes with corrective action recommendations by completing detailed reports and performance records and ensure to discuss with those responsible and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Check and monitor all products placed on HOLD and ensure that all items affected will be placed in a designated area.
Inspect and assess all product returns (damaged items from delivery, items refused by stores, etc.).
Conduct random checking of products stored both in dry and cold storages and prepare reports.
Education/Work Experience:
Preferably a college graduate with a science or any related course.
Two (2) years minimum of related experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background/experience in quality assurance and food safety handling, and GWP standards in a Logistics and Supply Chain Industry.
Sound experience in performing audits related to product quality and food safety.
Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies in the preparation of inspection reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conducting product quality and food safety-related training.
Knowledgeable in effective electronic communication and MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
