The site of Le Hainaut based in Belgium belongs to the Light Division. We are looking for a VIE Quality Engineer (SQA Supplier Quality Assurance) for 12 months within the team. Valeo site on tour video here!
Your challenges?
You identify and handle the component non-conformity on the site and ensure 100% APU/LINE protection.
You perform Conformity Control of the components supplied to and into the production site.
Ensure 100% Capable Yearly initial samples.
Ensure 100% Capable components delivered to the APU/LINE.
You control the Supplier analysis speed and relevancy closure with perfect communication to the APU.
You ensure follow-up of the Charge Back with Purchasing.
You ensure 100% conformity of components supplied at the site level.
You handle, consolidate, and update key indicators on a site level: yearly conformity for all the purchased components & reactivity in problem-solving.
You work with the supplier in accordance with the Supplier Quality Manual after a preliminary investigation on the Valeo site has been performed.
You escalate for any Purchasing Commodity engineer support required or for any roadblock regarding the incident problem-solving activity or the yearly component conformity.
You ensure 100% yearly conformity of the purchased components.
You contact the supplier as soon as an issue is detected with a purchased component to get the supplier to organize the containment within 24 hours.
Let's talk about you…
You are graduated from an Engineering School degree in Quality.
Ideally, you already have experience in Quality / in Production.
Ideally, in Automotive OEM or at Supplier.
Ideally, you have APU Quality engineer experience or Supplier quality experience.
You are familiar with quality tools & quality standards (ISO TS 16949).
You have a fluent level of English and French.
You have good communication skills, an international mindset, and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking.
You are humble, listen, have a positive attitude, are professional, and possess a sense of diplomacy.
