Quality Director

ALTORECRUIT, international headhunting consultancy specializing in the search and selection of middle management and C-suite level candidates, is currently recruiting for a Quality Director.
Our client operates in the plastics industry, specifically focusing on the manufacture of high-performance materials for a variety of applications.
This sector is characterized by its commitment to quality and innovation, requiring strong adherence to international standards and a proactive approach to quality management.
The Quality Director will report directly to the General Manager.
Requirements: Key Responsibilities: • Lead the Quality Department to ensure adherence to industry standards and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement innovative quality assurance strategies and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related challenges and drive operational excellence.
• Prepare and present reports to management and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Requirements: • Proven experience as a Quality Director or Manager, ideally within related industries, preferably plastics, or with an educational background in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Polymers, or Industrial Engineering.
• Fluent English (C1) is essential for international reporting.
• Solid experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards.
• Ability to contribute new ideas and a visionary approach to the department.
• Willingness to travel internationally 1-2 times a year for supplier or client visits.
Working Conditions: • Flexible working hours: 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM.
• The role will involve office work within the plant.
