Our commitment is to utilize our core competencies and enhance our coconut-based product offerings.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:Performs routine in-process monitoring of coconut water and coconut milk/cream quality control testing (i.E., sensory evaluation, product temperature, pH, brix, turbidity).Checks compliance to the critical control points in the production process (i.E. pasteurization temperature, sterilization temperature).Ensures that all laboratory equipment (i.E., thermometers, weighing scales, pH meter etc.) are properly verified prior to use.Performs titration and ensures standard concentration of cleaning chemicals prior to CIP.Performs checking of chemical residue, pH, appearance, taste and odor of final rinsing water after CIP.Conducts rapid swab test of equipment and machine (i.E., tanks, pipe line, sampling valve) after CIP prior to use as reflected to rapid swab form.Checks raw materials prior to production and ensures proper labeling of ingredients used for blending.Conducts physicochemical evaluation of blended coconut water and coconut milk/cream for UHT and approves final blend for transfer to VTIS sterilizer.Responsible for collection of line samples for microbiological & physicochemical evaluation.Enforce plant quality and food safety standards by continuous monitoring of sanitary work habits throughout production.Reports to QA Supervisor quality-related issues, implements immediate corrective actions to rectify the issue.Accomplishes all the required documentation in the official report forms and logbooks.Safekeeping of the assigned laboratory equipment/tools.Ensures that production area and storage are free from gluten.Performs duties and responsibilities aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices and company-established environmental, health and safety program.Performs other related duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION:Minimum Education Required:· Graduate of BS Food Technology or Chemistry; or any related course in Chemistry.· Must be a licensed Chemical Technician.Work Experience/s:· Preferably with related work experience.· With working knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and HACCP Program.#J-18808-Ljbffr
