The Software Engineering Group (SEG) at i2CAT is looking for a QA test engineer to join the SEG team. SEG activity is focused on the development of prototypes, technological proof of concepts, and minimum viable products for multiple innovation projects with customers, as well as for competitive, international research projects granted through public funding bodies. SEG works in close cooperation with i2CAT research areas.
Main Responsibilities:Work together with the current SEG QA, SEG Team Lead, and the SEG Scrum Master to refine the areas quality assurance methodology and associated procedures.Help to prepare, manage, and execute specific Software QA Test Plans, in collaboration with the SEG QA Lead and the development team assigned to the project.System, Integration, and User Acceptance testing execution.Quality of requirements: Get involved in analyzing requirements during the requirements analysis phase.Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents is documented and maintained.Attend and discuss the weekly status with the project leadership team.Who We Are:The greatest value of i2CAT is the talent of the people who make up our human team. Minimum Requirements:2 years of experience related to Software Testing.Quality Assurance and/or Software Testing certifications.Practical experience performing functional requirements gathering.Fluency in English.Team player, ability to work in different teams.Proactive attitude.Desired Requirements:Knowledge and certifications on Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Experience in software development.Experience in CI/CD tools and procedures.
