We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our talented team in Madrid. As a QA Engineer at Dcycle, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-based SaaS applications on AWS. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients.Main responsibilities Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases. Testing: Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in our cloud-based SaaS applications. Automation: Develop and maintain test automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks, with a focus on AWS services. Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new enhancements or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Bug Reporting Document and report defects, issues, and observations with clear and concise details. Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution. Performance Testing: Assess the performance and scalability of our applications on AWS, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization. Release Support: Assist in the release process, ensuring that software updates are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards. Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall QA and software development processes Requirements for this position Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong background in testing cloudbased SaaS applications, preferably on AWS. Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, with a focus on AWS services (e.G., AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS CodePipeline, etc.). Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, best practices, and tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams. Detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering high-quality software. Conditions: Permanent contract Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible start between 8:00 - 9:30 and end between 17:00 - 18:30), with early finish at 15:00 on Fridays.
