You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to provide support to internal team members.Taking ownership of your work comes naturally, and you possess a deep-seated passion for upholding software quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, and security standards through automation.In this role, you will spearhead the automation testing and quality assurance efforts for various tools and cloud services integral to our billing and subscriptions systems.Your expertise in automation will drive efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems as we continue to grow.This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our team's success and contribute to the advancement of our technology stack.Key job responsibilities Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks, ensuring the comprehensive validation of software functionality, performance, and reliability.Collaborate closely with development teams to identify opportunities for test automation integration throughout the software development lifecycle, facilitating the seamless incorporation of automated tests into the continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipeline.Design and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.Analyze test results and report defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in troubleshooting and resolution.Work closely with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure automated tests align with business requirements.Contribute to the development of test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience in quality assurance with a focus on test automation.Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.G., Python, Java, C#) and test automation frameworks (e.G., Selenium, Appium).Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Certification in software testing (e.G., ISTQB Certified Tester).Experience with performance testing tools (e.G., JMeter, LoadRunner).Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools such as Postman or SoapUI.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
