.Quality Assurance Applications Engineer (w/m/d) Job Description Summary Job Title: Quality Assurance (w/m/d) Location: Vitoria or Barcelona (onsite) Department: Solution Design & Development Role Summary: Join Hexagon MI's dynamic Solution Hub team as an Applications QA Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of metrology and automation solutions. You will collaborate closely with related divisions of the Solution Hub Organization and Hexagon MI, from solution development to different SW and HW BUs, providing technical expertise and testing activities across the entire Hexagon Solution Hub Portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass system testing activities from HW & SW and overall system perspective, product development and documentation, production, technical pre-sales and after-sales support, ensuring the required quality of solutions leading to seamless customer experiences and driving the success of Hexagon MI's solutions. Job Responsibilities Conduct hardware and software installation, solution testing, including tests definition, execution and documentation both on demo and customer units. Collaborate actively within Solution Design & Development team, with other involved Hexagon MI teams on product development projects, providing valuable input and contributing to the creation of innovative solutions. Support Hexagon Solution Hub teams in providing solution recommendations tailored to specific customer needs, ensuring that solutions align with their unique requirements. Prepare comprehensive solution documentation and methodology to effectively utilize Hexagon's solutions. Prepare detailed technical specifications for special projects, ensuring that proposals accurately reflect the capabilities and requirements of Hexagon's development. Develop custom programs and applications that seamlessly meet the specifications and objectives of our clients. Provide exceptional technical support to internal customers, troubleshooting advanced issues. Qualifications Graduate degree in mechanical, electronic, automation engineering, or related field. First experience in quality assurance and production software (CAD/ CAM/ Solidworks). Knowledge of robotics and automation systems. Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong customer centric orientation, committed to providing exceptional customer experiences. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Willingness to travel (up to 30% of time) to customer sites. Valid driver's license (B). Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with software testing & management tools (Jira preferred). Programming skills in C# or PLC programming languages is a plus (Siemens PLC preferred).
