Quality And Safety Supervisor - Spain

After another exciting year of growth for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, we now have a great opportunity for a Quality and Safety Supervisor – Spain who will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of Quality and Safety Data relating to Ground Operations in Spain and Portugal as part of the wider Jet2.com Safety Management System.

Reporting to the Quality Manager - Spain, the role is responsible for supporting the Quality Manager - Spain in the ongoing management and delivery of the Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting the Ground Safety Manager - Spain in the maintenance of the Jet2.com Safety Management System (SMS). Responsible for the day-to-day management of Jet2.com's Safety and Quality database systems within Ground Operations, you will support the promotion and development of the Company's Just Culture policy and confidential reporting system. In addition, you will develop promotional material for publication in Safety & Culture communications and carry out any management systems training as and when required.

With an understanding of Safety Management System principles as defined by ICAO/EASA requirements, the role also requires the ability to effectively communicate at differing levels across the business, both in Spanish and English, with a willingness to engage with all colleagues including 3rd party suppliers.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Ground Handling or Auditing/Compliance environment, working knowledge of IATA AHM and IGOM manuals, and be flexible, with a willingness to occasionally travel both across Spain and Portugal in order to fulfil the role.

An understanding of AESA and AENA regulatory requirements and applicability, along with Spanish Ground Handling Regulations, is desirable.
