Senior Planner Job Brief
We are looking for a Social Planner with a high level of English, very experienced in social media ecosystems and branding communication development. You will be responsible for creating communication strategies for social media campaigns. This includes targeting the right audience, identifying market/cultural opportunities as well as setting the tone and message of the campaign. You'll be responsible for providing clear direction and inspiration for creative development. By combining market data, qualitative/quantitative research and product knowledge within a brief, you'll be responsible for identifying opportunities.
You will work closely with social media strategists to develop a social media ecosystem and with the creative team to ensure innovative ideas reach our audiences.
ResponsibilitiesDeveloping presentations to clients and agency staff.Liaise with clients to identify business problems and develop ideas.Communicate with colleagues within the agency, such as creatives, data PMs, social media strategists in the process of developing different campaigns.Gain a comprehensive context for social media strategies by analyzing a range of information in great detail, including demographics, socio-economics and the market for the client's product and market share.Analyzing existing data, market reports and trends.Developing, managing and analyzing research projects.Keeping up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers' views and attitudes.Evaluating campaign effectiveness.Commission research from outside organizations to inform advertising strategies, using both qualitative methods, such as focus groups and structured interviews, and quantitative methods, such as demographic profiling and questionnaires.Run research groups/interviews.Find an 'angle' on a specific product or service on which to base a social media campaign.Research the product or service to be advertised, which may involve gaining technical or specific knowledge.Reconcile the differences between consumers' current perceptions of the brand and the way the client wishes the brand to be perceived.Meet the client to learn the background of the brand and advise on possible approaches to the target market.Provide the creative team with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience and strategy.Present conclusions and ideas to clients and other agency staff.Analyze and interpret customer response and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign.Skills and RequirementsBe creative and able to think around problems.Be skilled at analyzing, recopiling and making use of research.High level of English.Experienced in social media.Be a rigorous and logical thinker.Have strong presentation skills.Have good business skills.Have good written and spoken communication skills.Be able to work well as part of a team, with a range of people.
