Medical Scientific Liaison Obesity - Norte
The position
As Regional Medical Advisor (RMA), you will build critical relationships with relevant health care professionals - pushing for better clinical outcomes for people with obesity. Working in cross-functional collaboration with other internal stakeholders (Medical Managers, Sales, Market Access, Marketing), you will engage in scientific dialogue on the disease area and demonstrate the benefits of key products, providing medical information and coordinating educational workshops, round tables, medical forums, etc. - all to help transform the treatment of millions of people living with obesity around the world.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
Plan and execute the Regional Medical Plan (Medical Guidance, KOL Engagement, Medical Education, Clinical Activities and Publication Plan) with the target HCPs in alignment with the Obesity business strategy.
Provide quality medical and scientific support, education, and training to internal & external customers.
Optimise ad-hoc opportunities for relevant academic and professional collaboration in the interests of the current and future business needs and developing project proposals in support of a business case for local funding and initiatives.
Attend and facilitate scientific events, symposia and advisory boards to develop knowledge and create professional relationships.
Proactively provide medical support to clinical operations and our portfolio development (identification of sites for clinical trials, assessment of feasibility and patient recruitment through KOL relationships).
Qualifications
Master's degree in Life Science or Medicine.
Experience and/or strong knowledge in the field of metabolic medicine (obesity, cardiology, endocrinology...).
Fluent Spanish with high English level.
Availability to travel.
About the Department
At the centre of the Clinical, Medical and Regulatory (CMR) department at Novo Nordisk is bravery and curiosity. From building new healthcare provider partnerships and developing and implementing regulatory strategies, to providing medical education and collecting data to support efficacy and product development, CMR is involved and always looking for the next challenge. Under this role, you will report to our Head of Medical Affairs obesity while working in strong collaboration with other cross-functional teams, in particular our Obesity Business Unit.
