This role acts as a process expert and ensures operational excellence and adherence with ethical and quality applicable standards. The Medical Operation & Processes Lead will serve as a contact point for the Medical Affairs team across the regions and centralize key project metrics, recommend action plans, and monitor progress. This role provides operations management leadership and expertise in Medical Affairs planning, decision analysis, communication, execution, and budget management for teams. This role ensures alignment with Alexion objectives and compliance with established contractual requirements for Medical Affairs programs and activities through implementations of detailed compliance guidance, oversight, and governance activities.You will be responsible for:Leading initiatives to improve operational efficiency attending to countries' specific needs and identifying opportunities to standardize and implement the improvement across the region for all Medical Affairs projects and activities: HCP Engagement, Patient Advocacy engagements, Educational and Medical events, Scientific/non-promotional material, Patients Support Programs, Global Access to Medicines (GATM), Medical Information Requests and Call Centre.Ensuring a cross-functional approach to determine and implement projects and action plans that have effective and long-term performance enhancements.Managing projects and driving execution of deliverables with strategic thinking to ensure quality results, achieve milestones, budget management and resolution of related issues.Establishing governance initiatives and conducting resource analysis to facilitate the selection of prioritized projects in alignment with strategic and operational objectives.Defining metrics to effectively measure operations success.
