Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in cyber security along with leadership capabilities to effectively lead a team of cyber security engineers.
As a Cyber Security Engineer Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of cyber security measures to protect our organization's systems and data from potential threats.
Responsibilities:Lead a team of cyber security engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to safeguard our organization's networks, systems, and data.Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into the development lifecycle of software and systems.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the cyber security team.Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.Act as a point of contact for security-related inquiries and incidents, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address them effectively.Prepare and present reports to management on the status of cyber security initiatives, including key metrics, findings, and recommendations.Mandatory Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in cyber security, with 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.Deep understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices.Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, endpoint protection, and encryption.Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Preferred Requirements:Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or other relevant certifications.Qualities:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.
