Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancyNumber of job vacancies: one.Job position: pre-doctoral researcher.Working hours: 37.5 hours/week in morning/afternoon sessions.Remuneration: €1,347.86 gross/monthly for the first year of the contract plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations.Duration of the contract: 1 year.The successful candidate will collaborate in the research project "Rational design of hybrid materials for lighting and photocatalysis (NANOLIGHT) (CIPROM/2023/2)", undertaking doctoral training in cooperation with a University of Alicante research group – specifically, the Molecular Nanotechnology Laboratory – to pursue a doctoral thesis and carrying out the following research tasks:Synthesis and characterisation of carbon dots.Synthesis and characterisation of photoactive materials based on semiconductors.Synthesis and characterisation of photoactive materials based on silicas and/or zeolites.Determination of the optical and photophysical properties of the synthesised systems.Evaluation of the applicability of the materials.Assistance in writing related reports and scientific publications.Any other task related to this job position that may arise during the implementation of the project.Third.
