Associate, Investment Banking FTI Capital Advisors About the RoleFull time Associate position in the Investment Banking division of FTI in Madrid (FTI Capital Advisors). We are looking for an Associate with 4-5 years of experience in Investment Banking.
What You'll DoUnique opportunity to work within small, focused teams on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financing and capital raising assignments.Conduct preparation and review of materials including pitchbooks, management presentations, investment memorandums.Create presentations for client portfolios.Perform various valuation methods: comparable companies, precedents, DCF and LBO among others.Development of various types of financial models to value equity and debt for mergers, acquisitions or sales transactions.Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business.Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news.Participate in negotiations of Share and Purchase Agreements in M&A transactions.Exposure to different types of clients (corporates, private equity funds, etc.) and a wide range of industries (energy, TMT, industrial, retail, etc.).FTI encourages Associates to assume as much responsibility as they are able in order to optimize their professional development while also contributing to the continued growth of the Firm's franchise.Qualifications & ExperienceFTI Capital Advisors looks to employ only the brightest and most capable professionals who can perform effectively and have the potential to progress further within FTI.Bachelor's degree in business administration/economics or engineering.Previous experience in Investment Banks, M&A Boutiques or Corporate Finance departments of Auditing firms or Corporates is highly valued.A strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.Strong financial modeling skills.Strong communication and networking skills.Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events.Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principles.Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.Our BenefitsApart from the well-structured career path and excellent team environment, our employees enjoy a variety of perks and benefits.
