Puesto: The vacancy for a Manager Breeding Operations at Rijk ZwaanThe Manager Breeding Operations directly supervises the R&D station managers and, where necessary, provides specialist knowledge in the team to support the various implementation groups. You are part of the R&D Core Team and the R&D Investment Board and are responsible for the long-term planning regarding the development of the R&D implementation groups and the implementation facilities in the RZI. This is done in close contact with the station managers and breeding managers and in consultation with municipalities, provinces, and other authorities.You are responsible for: Support and lead the R&D station managersEnsure a long-term vision on R&D implementationCommunication and atmosphere within the implementationGood and productive communication between R&D execution and its customersPlanning of personnel and investments for R&D implementation in SpainOrganization of innovation in R&D executionImplementation of approved personnel and investment plansMaintenance of the Rijk Zwaan facilities that manage the R&D implementationRequisitos: We are seeking a Manager Breeding Operations with the following criteria:Master degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, HorticultureKnowledge of seed business and plant geneticsAt least 5 years of experience managing a stationOrganization and planning profileStrong interest in product knowledgeStrong interest in people development, Team orientedStrong communication and leadership skillsHighly motivated, and able to work independentlyBeing able to work and communicate in an international R&D networkAdvanced level in English (speaking as well as being able to write reports in English)Strong in communication, team playerGood in planning and organisationOtra información: What can you expect from us?
