.Process Development Engineer (Converting) - CoruñaFor our Retail Division, based in La Coruña, we are looking for a Process Development Engineer (converting) to be an active part of our New RFID Innovation Center. We help retailers to anticipate change before it happens, so merchandise is available, associates are informed and empowered, and shoppers can safely engage with flexibility and ease.What you will doReporting to the R&D; Manager, the Process Development Engineer (converting) will be responsible of the development of RFID tag manufacturing process.How you will do itRFID tag converting and printing process development (quality, cost structure, throughput, performance) and definition (used process, materials, process parameters, quality assurance and process output). This responsibility covers inhouse manufacturing or purchased components.Materials development (sourcing, evaluating and qualifying new raw materials, tools and consumables)Participation in new product developmentTechnology platform development (evaluating and developing new technologies,participation in equipment investment projects)Support for customer and supplier claim handlingAll of the above require planning and executing test runs, analyzing results using statistical tools and reporting the results. Location: A Coruña. Hybrid role (3 days per week in the office)What we are looking forTechnical education (min. BSc) from suitable field (for example materials engineering, mechanical engineering). Minimum 5 years of experience. Understanding on process/product development process. Textile manufacturing skills. Printing and packaging skills. Statistical tools. English language command. Team skills.
