As QC-Microbiology Technician, you'll be using the latest equipment and be in charge of certifying and validating the microbiological quality control analyzes of the finished product, intermediates, raw material, and characterization of the microbial flora following the GMP regulations.
You'll have the scientific solidity and knowledge to manage and provide microbiological support to aseptic projects and processes at the plant, analytical validations, as well as research with a microbiological impact.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordination, execution and point of contact for microbiological analyses requested by different partners and other Novartis plants ensuring lead-time of results and continuous contact and support.
Provide microbiological support to the investigations of the different partners of Novartis/Sandoz with which Palafolls operates.
Provide microbiological support to the processes and research related to aseptic manufacturing at the Palafolls plant.
Deviation management, OOS and definition and implementation of CAPAs in the microbiology laboratory.
Ensure proper compliance with Good Laboratory Practices and documentation of microbiological tests.
Writing of microbiological technical reports.
Support as SME in microbiology in audits and inspections.

Minimum requirements: Education: University degree, preferably Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or similar.
Working in the pharmaceutical industry in a GxP environment.
Knowledge and experience in microbiological quality control laboratories within the pharmaceutical industry.
Languages: Advanced spoken and written English, Spoken Spanish.
Experience: Experience in a microbiology laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar position
