Join an Owner's Engineering Team for an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Project in Saudi Arabia Location: Jubail, KSA Starting Date: March 2025 Project Duration: 28 months Rotation: 91 days on / 16 days off Work Schedule: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week Benefits: City accommodation and transportation provided Position Overview We are looking for a skilled QC Inspector in Civil & Structural Engineering to support the quality control efforts for an industrial wastewater treatment project in Jubail, KSA.
This role is essential for maintaining high standards in all project phases and ensuring compliance with rigorous quality requirements.
Core Responsibilities Quality Management: Review, comment, and approve (with Manager guidance) the EPC Contractor's Quality Organization, ensuring qualified personnel are assigned.
Oversee the EPC Contractor's Quality Management System and Plan, covering all key aspects like Quality Assurance, Surveillance, and Control.
Approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure required OWNER witnessing is accurately reflected, including at vendor workshops.
Audit and Surveillance: Conduct internal and external audits, coordinating with the OWNER to ensure processes are in line with project standards.
Develop and implement a Quality Site Surveillance Plan for continuous site monitoring and quality supervision.
Approve the EPC Contractor's audit reports and track corrective actions where necessary.
Site and Vendor Inspections: Lead inspections and tests at vendor workshops, as well as Site Acceptance Tests.
Perform quality checks and walk-throughs on-site, ensuring completed products meet project specifications.
Coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and review relevant reports, such as radiographic and ultrasonic tests.
Documentation and Handover: Ensure thorough record-keeping of inspections, tests, and quality activities in the Document Management System (DMS).
Oversee quality closure of all punch list items, review Manufacturing Data Records (MDR), and compile comprehensive inspection reports, highlighting non-conformities and corrective actions.
Qualifications and Skills Required Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in quality control/inspection for large-scale industrial projects, with experience in EPC projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Wastewater sectors.
Technical Knowledge: Skilled in international quality standards, with proficiency in reviewing NDT results and managing quality documentation systems.
Additional Requirements: Experience in project auditing and familiarity with American quality standards (ASME, ASTM, etc.)
