Job Responsibilities: Drive/implement continuous improvement programs to support Quality objectivesEnsure compliance with Quality System requirements in manufacturing areasEnsure timely and effective resolution of customer related issues for both Internal and ExternalReview customer specifications and determine which requirements the devices can and cannot meet; assist customers in determining the nature of problems such as manufacturing defects, inadequate screening, and customer misapplicationsUtilize and drive Statistical Process control (SPC) in manufacturing areasEstablish and implement automated quality assurance methods, tests, and procedures to process discrete or integrated circuit semiconductor devicesFormulate specification and implementation guidelines for process quality improvements and customer satisfactionCoordinate and work with manufacturing group in problem-solving, material dispositioning, and Corrective Action implementation activitiesConduct technical studies relevant to the quality and reliability of the productParticipate in Buy-off, characterization, and optimization of new equipment and processesPerform system transactions for the ON Semiconductor Customer Incident Tracking System which may include the following: updating the status of customer returns, uploading Corrective Action (8D) Reports, assignment of corrective actions for system tracking (FUA)Support and drive Quality related initiatives.Job Requirements: BS degree in EngineeringAt least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor/ manufacturing industryExcellent leadership and interpersonal skillsStrong communication, quantitative and analytical skillsStrong exposure to manufacturing processes at Assembly (e.g. Wafer Saw, Die Bond, Wirebond and Molding).Experience in the application of statistical techniques and quality technologies such as FMEA, DOE, SPC, GR&R, Sampling plan procedures and Machine /Process Capability StudyKnowledgeable of ISO and TS1949 requirements, DMAIC Methodology, and process control methodsExcellent computer skillsAbility to write technical documentation and reportsJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
