.The Role : Moderna is seeking a Manager of Quality Control responsible for quality oversight of Quality Control and Facilities at Moderna, Spain. This position is based in Moderna's own facility in Madrid, Spain.Here's What You'll Do :Responsible for providing quality oversight of Quality Control (Micro, Chem, Bioassay, Stability, and AS&T).Identify risks and communicate gaps for quality and GMP process/systems.Make quality decisions that may impact operations, ensuring appropriate escalation to management is conducted on time, when needed.Identifies, classifies, and reports deviations, as appropriate, and typically supports the operational teams, providing guidance to ensure deviations are handled timely according to cGMP standards.Reviews and approves facility alarms, facility work order requests, and return-to-service documentation.Reviews and approves QC method qualification protocols and reports.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Collaborate and lead effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.Authors and reviews SOPs, policies to ensure compliance and adherence to regulations/cGMP operations.Practice safe work habits and adhere to Moderna's safety procedures and guidelines.Utilize knowledge to improve operational efficiency.Work closely with others to recognize opportunities for improvement and drive change through the use of Quality systems.Here's What You'll Bring to the Table :At least 3-5 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, preferably within Quality, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.Moderna offers personalized benefit programs and well-being resources as unique as our global workforce so employees can do their best work.
