We are looking for a QA Engineer / Software Tester to improve the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our bioinformatics software.
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective testing strategies, combining both manual and automated testing, ensuring that our software is robust, scalable, and performs as intended. While your primary focus will be on automation, your expertise in manual testing will also help guide test strategies for new features and products.
*We follow a hybrid work model, with four days in the office and one day working from home each week. Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of a comprehensive QA strategy, focusing on both manual and automated testing to ensure thorough coverage across our applications.Execute manual and automated tests to validate software quality, as well as conduct load testing to assess software performance under various conditions.Perform functional, regression, and performance testing, ensuring our software meets both technical and business requirements.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, testers, project managers, and others to integrate all phases of the product lifecycle.Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies using issue-tracking tools, ensuring clear communication with developers and product managers.Participate in identifying requirements and design specifications to ensure products meet quality standards.Continuously improve the QA process by suggesting new tools, techniques, and best practices.What We're Looking For:3+ years of experience in QA engineering, with extensive experience in test automation.Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans, including both manual and automated test cases.Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems like Git, and test platforms.Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in test environments.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with stakeholders.Knowledge of Python/Docker is a plus.English level: Upper-intermediate.What We Offer: Opportunity to work in a leading global organization in healthcare and genetic services.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Medical insurance.Flexible compensation options.Free coffee at the workplace.Discounts on our platform and gym memberships.Job stability in a growing and innovative company.
