As part of the R&D team for Automatic Border Control, you will be responsible for base product quality and validation for our different solutions, build validation test plans, analyze and categorize defects and quality issues and assure issue traceability throughout the delivery chain.
Our solutions perform secure authentication of user's ID document and biometrics verification that will secure traveling for millions of people.
As a QA Engineer, you will: Validate the products and components (application libraries, systems, and solution, either purely software or combining software and hardware).
Cooperate with developers in order to reproduce, identify, analyse and isolate the issues.
Analyse the scope, define a test strategy, and prepare validation test plans.
Execute the validation Test Plan and present results.
Generate documentation related to Testing and Validation activities.
Prepare guides and documentation for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Cooperate with Delivery and Field teams regarding troubleshooting and configuration of the solution.
Competences: Technical/functional skills: You have at least 3-year experience as Software Quality Engineer.
You have worked in Agile methodologies.
You are familiar with working with an interdisciplinary development team with continuous integration & delivery (CI/CD) and related tools: JIRA and Xray.
You have designed non-functional testing types (performance, load, stress).
You have worked on Web testing.
You are interested in working with hardware.
You are willing to travel punctually to validate onsite solutions.
Other (advantage): You are familiar with ISTQB concepts.
You have experience with BDD or Gherkin.
You have worked with Elastic and Kibana data visualization and filtering.
You have experience with Server back-end technologies: Application Servers, Databases, Web servers SOAP/REST.
You know some scripting language (Python) or Window batch files (.bat).
You have experience with Border Control solutions such as Gates, document scanners, cameras.
Behavioural skills: Good communication skills (written and spoken) in Spanish & English.
Adaptation to shifting priorities.
Analysing problems.
Strong teamwork spirit.
