We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an exceptional Automation Engineer to work with our cross-functional team, and join our world-class community of talented expertsPerforms Automation testing design against detailed specifications.Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.Defines test objectives, creates test plans and develops automated test cases/procedures.Provides test results to management and customers that are clear and concise.Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.Conduct job trainings and provide assistance to Junior QA Automation Engineers as needed.Responsible for recognizing and creating awareness of process or quality problems.Requirements, nice to have and qualificationsWe are looking for a proactive, adaptable, and eager-to-learn candidate to take our Cognizant ´s company brand to the next level:Minimum. Experience of Test automation of 2-10+ years on API test automationQA automation with development skills - ability to write from scratch automation scripts.Advanced use of Postman (variables, pre-request scripts, authorization, tests, etc.) for which hands on experience is necessary with Rest Assured frameworkHigh knowledge of Java (Selenium) for API Automation testingHands on experience in creating Gherkin scripts based on Cucumber frameworkExperienced BDD framework using cucumberExperience in CI/CD tools: Bitbucket, GIT and others including AWSSolid experience of AGILE Methodologies and Scrum processesStrong experience in JIRA test management toolExperience in creating tests for Web-Services and automate them. (Serenity BDD is a plus)Experience with continuous integrations and continuous deployment (Bamboo is a plus)Mandatory Spanish speaking skills and nice to have English speaking skillNice to have skills:Experience working in Agile Projects
