IT Helpdesk en Barcelona. The IT Support Assistant's primary focus will be to ensure that all ICT equipment and related infrastructure meets the needs of users. This position is ideal for a person who already has some experience in IT and is looking for new challenges. EFI has a flexible work environment where you will have space to develop your own projects following IT department guidelines.
We will also provide on-the-job training to support development in the position. Key responsibilities will include:
IT Helpdesk support to include resolving problems, identifying issues, and escalating problems where appropriate, and managing the ticketing system.Provide troubleshooting and maintenance for computer equipment, including performing remote fixes at the desktop level.Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all infrastructure equipment.Setting up new equipment.Creating and preparing reports.Manage IT projects including web-based projects.Deal with third-party partners.Assist with the implementation of new tools.Manage servers.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
University degree in computer science or equivalent training and experience in information technology.
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English. Other languages such as Spanish and German are desirable but not essential.
Customer-focused with the capacity to build and sustain productive working relationships.
Communication skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary international teams and environments.
Proactive problem solver with the ability to manage own time and tasks.
Able to quickly gain new skills and knowledge.
Out-of-the-box approach.
Experience with Office 365 platform.
Hands-on experience working in current versions of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server.
Experience of virtualized servers e.g. VMware platform.
Backup management e.g. Veeam, Arcserve or similar.
Windows 10 operating system and general user support.
MacOS support.
Knowledge of LAN configuration, network implementation, and LAN installation and support.
Knowledge of CMS e.g. Drupal, Wordpress.
Knowledge of basic HTML, PHP, MySQL.

Experience managing cloud services with Azure, AWS, or others.
Oracle Netsuite (ERP) experience.
SharePoint online management.
MDM Platforms (JAMF, Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune).

Duty Station:
The position can be based at either our office in Barcelona, Spain or in Bonn, Germany.
Employment Conditions:
This is a full-time (100%) position, but consideration will be given to accommodate 80% part-time working. This position offers a challenging opportunity to work within a stimulating international environment.
