Job Description Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Spain.
Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes: Developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate risk Developing tender and contract documentation Effectively managing the end-to-end procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports The successful candidate will have the opportunity to: Develop your skill set and knowledge by working with an outstanding team of specialist consultants Engage and influence clients on procurement of major construction projects and programmes across a variety of sectors including energy, transport, water and real estate Drive real change by supporting clients in realizing their sustainability ambitions Challenge themselves in a market-leading global business The duties of this role include: Providing procurement advice to clients Managing end-to-end procurement services on construction and construction-services-related projects and programmes Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans Engaging with the market and supply chain on a national and international level Providing expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitions Drafting tender documents and reviewing contract documents prepared by others Qualifications: Minimum 8 years' experience with 3 years procurement experience for the procurement of capital works, goods or services Preferably possess a degree related to engineering or quantity surveying Experience in construction, industrial, high tech manufacturing, battery, semi-conductors, pharma and/or manufacturing sector Business level Spanish + English Additional Information: Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
