From our beginnings 50 years ago couriering time-sensitive, high-importance documents to today's cutting-edge logistics solutions for Cell & Gene Therapies that save lives, we now have over 3,000 employees at 140 offices in more than 50 countries worldwide and are part of Fortune 10 corporation AmerisourceBergen.JOB DESCRIPTION:Planning and executing shipment handled in hub structure.Customs procedure (Export/Import).The holder of this position must coordinate the cooperation between his/her area of work with all other areas of the corporation in such a manner that the flow of information is always free of friction, unimpeded, and a holistically positive coordination is assured.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Spends much of the time training warehouse associates in duties and responsibilities and all associates in the safe use of equipment according to SOPs.Observes performances to correct behaviors as necessary.May require use of a radio frequency (RF) device to perform daily tasks.Responsible to assist warehouse personnel with the efficient execution of order filling, receiving, stocking, and returns.May oversee shipping and general operations (UPS, emergency orders, or general deliveries).Continues to perform as an individual contributor completing advanced tasks and decision-making with detailed knowledge of the position procedures.Provides day-to-day tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates.Responsible for daily workloads.Coordinates and recommends efficiencies to workflow.Manages inventory; including monitoring levels.May use forklifts, reach trucks, and/or other mechanized equipment to move inventory.Assist in supervision of the department including, but not limited to, assignment of work and manpower needs to cover associate vacations.Participates in associate concerns such as reporting and follow-up to supervisor.Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and state DEA regulations.Performs related duties as assigned.What your background should look likeEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:English mandatory.MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:Ability to read and understand the English language to compare and read product description names and shelf labels.Must possess basic mathematical skills.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.Have a good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance.Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work-related injuries.Able to follow procedures & instructions.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND DISPOSITION:Sound decision making.The ability to listen to customers and negotiate winning solutions
