Job DescriptionInternal ControlsWork across process owners to ensure that financial and operational processes are adequately designed and executed.Perform process and internal control documentation; proactively identify opportunities to improve and optimize processes and procedures.Ensure compliance of Internal Control System with Swiss law and Sarbanes-Oxley Act.Manage the external audit of internal controls to ensure timely and smooth completion.Proactively partner with business owners to provide risk/controls consultation where new systems/processes are being implemented.Revenue AccountingAssist in month-end revenue close procedures and journal entry review and preparation under ASC 606.Assist in the flux analysis of revenue related accounts and key metrics.Assist in month-end reconciliation of revenue related accounts.Assist in documenting and maintaining revenue technical accounting and process memos.Other General Ledger AccountingCollaborate with the accounting team on monthly, quarterly, and annual closing according to US GAAP.On an ad hoc basis, act as a backup for certain general accounting and GAAP/statutory reporting.QualificationsBachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.3 years in public accounting, preferably in the "Big 4".CPA or equivalents preferred.NetSuite (Oracle) experience a plus.Extensive knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act and IFRS or US GAAP.Capacity to understand and critically assess financial business process.Ability to partner with businesses and communicate effectively with all levels of the Nexthink organization.Fluent in English required.
French preferred.Ready to travel 3-4 weeks per year.Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-growing and changing environment.Additional Information
