From Hays, we're searching for an Account Payable Manager in a company in the delivery sector located in Barcelona. As the Invoice to Pay manager, you will bring your best-in-class knowledge to lead our I2P operations within the Finance Operations department in HQ. Be a part of a team where you will:Lead Invoice to Pay operations, being in charge of Invoice processing, Accounts Payable, and Travel and Expenses processes and activities while coordinating with the Operational Procurement team on the first steps of the Purchase-to-Pay process.Coordinate with the Operational Procurement team to ensure providers master data accuracy in our finance systems.Be responsible for overseeing the I2P end-to-end process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the whole procedure.Approve and control payments to ensure timely payments to suppliers within the terms and conditions agreed by contract, preventing accounts overdue and rejections and keeping exceptions to a minimum level.Lead compliance in I2P activities, making sure that policies and SOPs are implemented and up to date and defining a control framework.Take ownership of any Invoice to Pay initiative, project, and/or system enhancement, suggesting automations to address current manual activities.Actively collaborate across the finance organization and ensure reconciliations and other Month End Activities are completed on a regular basis.Set goals, KPIs, and targets and generate reports and dashboards to track and achieve operational results ensuring alignment with other areas.Build strong relationships to provide partnership to key stakeholders through quality services and timely issue resolution and be responsible for liaising with suppliers to support business.Lead, develop, and coach a team of 8-10 people.What you should have:7+ years of experience in Procurement to Pay, Invoice to Pay, Accounts Payable, or Accounting (preferably within an FSSC/COE/GBS environment).Proven experience in managing people.Strong knowledge and understanding of P2P and/or I2P standard procedures, internal controls, workflows, vendor onboarding, etc.Sound knowledge of general accounting rules (IFRS or Spanish GAAP) and EU tax treatments.Hands-on experience with SAP/S4Hana, ARIBA, VIM, and Concur or other equivalent systems.Ability to keep a high level of accuracy in reviewing and auditing vendor information and liaising with P2P transactions to ensure compliance.Problem-solving attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure and deadlines, staying organized.Ability to find solutions to improve processes and/or prevent recurrence of issues.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.We offer:A Temporary contract (6 months), with the possibility of joining the company. Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hybrid work modality: 3 days from home and 2 at the office. Salary: between €45,000 - €52,000.
