Bachelor's degree - Experience researching indirect tax issues including taxability of products and services - 5+ years of Indirect Tax Experience in advisory firm or multi-national tax department.
Tax Engine Business is responsible for providing end-to-end global transaction tax calculation solutions (sales and use taxes, value-added taxes, goods and services taxes, and other consumption taxes) to Amazon and thousands of other merchants selling on Amazon marketplaces and other e-commerce platforms.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and tracking Indirect Tax legislation trends globally.Taxability research and maintenance for a broad array of products and services.Working with partner teams to conduct internal reviews and risk assessments.Working with internal teams who classify products to ensure products are correctly classified for tax purposes.Providing end-to-end tax calculation requirements for projects and business initiatives.Participating in team operational excellence programs and process improvements.Assisting in designing tools and services supporting the product tax classification function.Actively participating in selected projects throughout their life-cycle.Requirements: Experience maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g., Vertex).Experience working with European and/or NA tax laws.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.Proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.Location: Barcelona, B, ESP
