Held is actively seeking a **Consultant /** **Senior Consultant** for its Construction Advisory Team, specialising in claims and construction dispute resolution, based in Madrid. This position is for a professional who has a minimum of 5 years experience working in a leading international contracting organisation or an owner organisation with international project portfolio.**Responsibilities**:- Develop and/or review claims in construction and engineering projects; - Implement and developcontract management processes in projects; - Take part in preparation of expert witness reports; - Select appropriate analysis methodologies with guidance of manager, assist in commission reviews and identifying claim strategy; - Demonstrate ability todeliver concise and compelling event chronologies, draft completed sections of Claim Reports; - Review facts,correspondence and project control records to prepare quantifications of claims; - Utilise appropriate structure and format of Report- Peer review, critique and edit work involved in commission- Provide real time feedback on work product and other activities to allocated resources and upstream to manager, ensure allocated Commission elements are completed on time and on budget**Required qualifications/experience**- A recognized undergraduate degree in engineering, quantity surveying, construction management or similar from a leading university; - Minimum 3-10 years on-site or project construction experience with engineering or construction firms, or a construction claim/dispute firm; - Fluent in Spanish andEnglish- Ability to sporadicly travel- Familiarity with claims and/or expert witness work, or exposure to arbitration processes is preferredJ.S.Held is dedicated to becoming the global leader in providing multi-disciplinary consulting services to the construction, government, healthcare, industrial, insurance, energy, legal, and technology, communities
