In this position, you will be part of a team that provides Indirect Material and Service Support to the Siemens Gamesa Business Units.
This position will report to the Global Category Manager.
The Ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as well as operate independently.In This Role You WillDefine, communicate, and implement a regional commodity structure & sourcing strategy.Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage/exploit potential opportunities through tailored actions.Lead regional tendering, contracting, and supplier activities, such as supplier selection, qualification, and development.Analyze and coordinate efforts to implement strategic initiatives/programs to drive savings, supply base optimization, cash flow improvement & e-Auctions.Coordinate and manage a virtual cross-functional team to achieve optimum conditions and savings.Generate, document and implement savings; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.Cooperate closely with internal customers (requesters) to ensure customer care and early involvement.Negotiate frame contracts and define core supplier and service assortment.What You Need To Make a DifferencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
