SC Business Advanced Analyst JOIN OUR GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN SYSTEMS AND ANALYTICS TEAM IN BARCELONA AS A SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS ADVANCED ANALYST
In Supply Chain Systems and Analytics, we are on a mission to ensure everyone can harness the power of data in every decision. Our scope includes all Supply chain processes: Customer Care, Logistics (Warehousing, Distribution and transportation), Supply chain planning (Distribution requirements planning, Demand planning, Integrated Business Planning and Multi-site Planning) and Production/Scheduling Planning, across all Regions and markets and for all Business units (GBUs). You will contribute to empower the life of our patients worldwide by extracting meaning from data and providing tangible and actionable outcomes using the latest available techniques and methods.
JOB SUMMARY The Planning Supply Chain Business Advanced Analyst is responsible to:
Provide a comprehensive and reliable business data environment and strive towards E2E SC visibilityLiaise with the other SC Centers of Excellence to ensure we have useful and meaningful analysis from a Play to Win mindsetResponsible to design and publish standard reports globally in order to enhance SC business effectiveness (e.G. Process adherence, Performance monitoring...)Support the design of SC optimization and simulation models covering the end to end Supply Chain in order to propose improvements and cost savingsSupport the execution of the Supply Chain analytics strategy. This includes E2E Inventory, Downstream SC (Distribution requirements planning, Demand planning, Integrated Business Planning) and Upstream SC (Supply/Multi-site Planning and Production/Scheduling Planning)Lead global projects autonomously with cross-functional teams (digital, business...) involvement, with an aim driven by value realization generated to the businessMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the design and build of advanced analytics and optimization tools that will enable Sanofi to increase efficiency and competitiveness, for instance:
Optimization: SC facilities localization, Milk run optimization, Routes determinationDiscrete Event simulation: Identification of bottlenecks, Definition of Safety stock levelsMachine learning: KPI target settings, product segmentation, detection of abnormal patterns in systems usageDesigns simulations to confirm that defined parameters deliver desired results. Optimizes inventories and flows balancing customer service level and costs to maximize profit. Provide his/her expertise in Supply Chain Planning processes and tools to define and align with the business stakeholders the best course of action. Understand the complexity of the data and communicate the right design approach to the developing team. Work closely with Digital to ensure data is managed as per global guidelines and Sanofi's digital vision. Identify reporting needs, produces and publishes official KPIs to enhance and/or ease E2E Supply Chain processes.
REQUIREMENTS Experience & knowledge Past experience in a Supply Chain roleProven experience in Data analytics/Data engineeringSignificant Project Management experience, involving Agile and Digital methodologiesProved experience working in a data-centric business environmentExperience in a complex global organizationCore/Essential competencies Ability to identify sources of value from data analytics across core business domains and to define paths realizing that valueProven experience with advanced analytics technologies and tools, SQL, Python, R, and visualization solutions/techniques (ie. Qlik, PowerBi)Desirable experience Advanced software development skills in at least two of the standard data science languages (such as Python, R, Scala, C++, Julia), and familiarity & flexibility with database systems (e.G. SQL, NoSQL, graph..)Comfortable working in cloud and high-performance compute environments (e.G. Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Apache Spark)Disciplined AI/ML development (MLOps, CI/CD)Familiar with our SC tools (Kinaxis, SCeye, Plai.Supply) is a plusAPICS certification is a plusPursue Progress.
