Our client, a multinational industrial company, is seeking a Business Control and SOX Compliance Manager for its manufacturing plants across Spain. The role will be based in the company's Madrid offices.The mission of the Role will be:Analyze all the procedures and strategies of the production according to the SOX compliance policies.Define risk management strategies and their impact on the P&L of the company.Work closely with the workforce to understand the business and set up new strategies to foster the results of each business unit of the company.The hired talent will report directly to the Global CFO and the MD of Spain, working closely with the Plant Directors and Production Managers. The responsibilities for the role will include:Support the overall Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance process including risk assessment, scoping, planning, executing, and managing the assessment strategy.Testing of internal control over financial reporting (ICFR). The position may also require involvement in process documentation, development of risk and control matrices, and flowcharts.Develop staff and cultivate business relationships throughout the organization.Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the organization.Execute the global ICFR program and testing activities in the region for completion in line with global due dates.Support the Regional Manager in coordinating relationships within the region with ICT SOX & internal/external providers for all activities connected to ICFR testing and implementation.Implement best practices, process and efficiency improvements, and global standardization of the ICFR testing program.#J-18808-Ljbffr
