Job Description:
The Power and Renewables Research Team is a highly respected group of analysts producing market-leading research on the entire renewable energy value chain, covering onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, energy storage and power markets. Our cutting-edge knowledge of renewable supply chains, costs, deployments, and investment trends further strengthens Wood Mackenzie's offerings in the market during this rapidly changing time in the energy sector.
Qualifications:
You have a background in renewable energy, with a good understanding of one or more of the following: regional and global market trends in solar and wind market developments, O&M/Asset Management practices and strategies, the emerging role of digitalisation in clean energy adoption, and an understanding or appreciation of wind turbine and solar technologies. You have an analytical mindset and an eye for detail, can think out of the box and generate new ideas, and you are comfortable taking complex, disparate ideas and distilling them into simple, provocative concepts. You can communicate these ideas and concepts to audiences in an engaging way, both verbally and in writing. You can demonstrate knowledge in one or more of the following areas: IRR/cashflow modelling, market size modelling and cost/price modelling. You are a strong team player and a natural self-starter who can work independently. You are comfortable disrupting your routine as you will be constantly looking to learn and provide in-depth analysis on industry trends and innovative market dynamics.
