We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Account Manager Functional Ingredients & Solutions - South West Europe.
As our Sales Account Manager, you will help grow Corbion's market position in the South West Europe by locating, developing, defining and capturing business opportunities and relationships for Corbion FIS.
Responsibilities Manage Key & Regional Accounts and distributor sales on a daily basis, contacting them at all levels of R&D, Procurement, Marketing, Quality, Production, Regulatory Affairs and Communications.Support product launches and introduction of new applications & solutions, in collaboration with other disciplines like Business Development and Applications Team.Provide technical support to customers, prospects and distributors.Collaborate with EMEA customer service team to manage customer interface.Manage Sales Budget for key/regional accounts and distributors for assigned territory.Responsible for realization of business targets (revenues, volumes, prices, margins, pipeline).Grow project pipeline and execute/progress on active projects, in collaboration with Business Development, Applications, R&D, and/or other disciplines.Develop and execute on tactical year planning for assigned territory in specific segments, accounts & distributors, following business strategies, action plans & initiatives.Gather market trends and competitive information to identify new sales opportunities and realize growth.Use and log all key activities in the MS-CRM system and other developed sales tools in Corbion. Requirements At least 8 years of experience in technical sales in meat and/or savory ingredients (B2B), with a solid track record of developing and running a sales territory.BSc or MSc in Food Technology, Food Science or similar.Proven ability to build and foster strategic partnerships with key customers and distributors.Excellent skills in networking with people and building business relationships.Skilled in sales planning, prospecting, and closing business deals.Direct involvement in the complete technical sales cycle including formal customer presentations, technical discussions, product trials, overcoming objections, negotiations and closing supply agreements/contracts.Ability to understand and sell to customer needs.Recognized for ability to work across an organization and cross-functionally on new business development projects.Flexible and adaptable to change and passionate.Knowledge of Word, Excel, CRM reporting tools and PowerPoint.Ability to communicate both written and verbally in (native) English.
