Employment Type: PermanentContract Duration: PermanentAbout the team you are joining:You will be working within the Platforms & Data Operations team, a team that fits in the organizational structure as a business unit, that cooperates often with the IT department and with other business units. You will be joining the team in charge of designing, supervising, and implementing analytics and data science projects. You will look for technological support from data engineers from the IT department, supporting them also in communicating with the business. You will contribute to understanding the requirements from the different business areas (Travel Agency Risk Management, Customer Service, Invoicing, Banking, etc.) and transform their data into valuable insights through integration, consolidation, and presentation of the information, using state-of-the-art analytics tools.What your day would be like:Analyze data from our databases to provide insights to top management and to the different operational teams.Be an innovative person that communicates easily with business partners and helps them formulate their problem to achieve a data-driven solution.Be a technical advisor for our team on using data analytics technologies, data science models, and showcase the ability to implement them.Use predictive modeling, clustering, classification, and other machine learning techniques to classify entities with any business interest, detect and avoid financial risks, etc.Keep organized our datalake in the cloud and coordinate the creation of new repositories that can provide new business insights.Query the different repositories using advanced SQL.Maintain a set of important reports and KPI dictionaries and deliver them to top management monthly.We would love to hear from you if you have:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Data Science, or similar technical field; Master's degree preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with 5+ years of experience in a data-driven IT environment.Data expert with strong analytical thinking and innovative mindset.At least 3-4 years of experience in the field of Data Analysis or Data Science.Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python, and experience with relational databases (SQL).Familiarity with Data Visualization tools (e.G., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).Experience with AWS Cloud Services is considered a plus.English is a must; other European languageis an asset.Communicative with proven ability to communicate decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as good presentation skills.Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively.Good stakeholder management and influencing skills.Travel Required: NDiversity and Inclusion are one of our key priorities and we want to role model it.#J-18808-Ljbffr
