Sanoma Learning's Kampus development focuses on creating a cloud-native platform for secondary education. The platform is used by tens of thousands of teachers and students on a daily basis. In Kampus you can find all of the Sanoma digital learning materials and tools for lower and upper secondary and vocational education in the Finnish and Swedish markets. For teachers, Kampus offers a wide range of different tools that save time and enable to focus more on individual student needs. Kampus provides a clear view for monitoring student progress, while providing feedback in a seamless process. For students, Kampus is a tool optimized for consuming content, completing exercises, and turning in homework. They are able to track their own progress and ensure that their individual learning goals are met.
Responsibilities
The development team is international and consists of enthusiastic, friendly and talented members. The QA tester will be working as a manual tester in the QA team with 6 other colleagues (4 QA Automation Engineers and 2 fellow QA Testers). Your responsibilities will be the following:
Get to know the features to plan testsTake part in feature requirement planningIdentify which of the stories require testing (Infrastructure tasks vs development tasks)Prepare test dataInvestigate and report issuesSuggest UI/UX improvementsPlan and conduct manual testsPlan and conduct release testingManage releases, create release testing pagesSmoke testing preview and production releasesRegression testingImprove QA processesUpdate relevant stakeholders about release testing status, open issues, etc.Requirements
• Previous experience in manual testing (3+ years)
• Previous experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe...)
• Knowledge about QA methodologies
• Attention to detail
• Ability to create detailed and understandable documentation (bug reports, test plans etc.)
• Good communication and documentation skills in English
• A positive attitude and ability to work in an international team
• Self-management skills
Nice to have skills:
• Knowledge in Atlassian tools: Jira & Confluence
• Knowledge in Accessibility testing
• Basic knowledge of programming languages
