Our mission is to advance large-scale photovoltaic to meet the growing global demand for clean electricity.Come be a part of our success story!Your Job- Collaborate closely with System Design, Electrical, PV and SCADA Engineers to interpret and translate engineering specifications, sketches, and calculations into detailed technical drawings.- Draft detailed mechanical & electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), detailed drawings, and section drawings, specializing in the specific needs of PV projects.- Perform calculations to determine material requirements and dimensions, prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings, such as bills of materials and assembly instructions.- Modify and revise existing drawings based on changes in design or specifications.- Prepare AS-BUILT drawings based on RED-Markups provided by site managers and supervisors.- Assist Engineering Managers in creating standard drawings and templates, shaping the future design philosophy of our projects.- Identify and report potential design problems or inconsistencies before they become a challenge.- Continuously learn and keep up with the latest advancements in CAD software and technologies.Your Profile- An academic diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with experience in renewable energies or a related field (preferably PV Power plants).- 5+ years of experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role, drafting mechanical & electrical engineering layouts.- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, or Inventor and PV-specific plugins like Helios 3D and PVCase.- Strong understanding of drafting principles and conventions.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is most valued.- Ability to work & thrive independently and as part of a team.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.- Fluency in English and Spanish.
