Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing the purchase and follow of the procurements signed.
He/she will select the best option based on quality service and price, guaranteeing the level of service provided by the products assigned and helping to draw up the budget.Main tasks:Procurement of materials for the projects, according to BOM (Bill of materials) received from Technical or Project Management Departments.Procurement of services for the projects, according to requests received from Technical or Project Management Departments.Managing supplier relationships and ensuring the timely delivery of materials within budget.Coordinating procurement with onsite project teams to ensure smooth implementation.Coordinating procurement within company ERP – SAP, inputting all data required for the procurement control.Know the state of the market of products to be purchased: appearance of new markets, inclusion of new products, technological advances, different qualities, technical and legal regulations.Search for new sources of supply, their financing formulas, their expertise know-how in the product they sell, their brand image, CSR, study the possibility of accessing central purchasing or cooperative formulas.Establish supplier database, manage the existing portfolio of suppliers: periodically audit and visit them, update the history of previous purchases, find out their current financial status.Strengthen relationships with suppliers: explore opportunities for mutual benefit (win-to-win loyalty), enable vertical integration within the company, study possibilities of partnership.Job requirements:Several degrees/certifications possible, proven experience purchasing industrial/technical components is crucial.Availability to work late shift from 14:00 to 22:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from home, at office on Tuesday and Friday on flexible morning schedule.C1 English.+3 years experience.Technical expertise in purchasing.
