In 2018, Eurofins generated 4.2 billion Euro proforma turnover in 800 laboratories across 47 countries, employing about 45,000 staff.Job DescriptionThe Purchasing Manager position will be responsible to:Deploy and follow-up group and local purchasing proceduresOptimize all spend (direct and indirect cost) in coordination with the Group and in line with target submitted at yearly basisManage a team of Buyers and coordinate projectsCost reduction and inflation control ProjectCommunicate all action leads, scheduled in close coordination with Division ManagerRationalize the supplier portfolio and aim to standardize our item databaseSecure labs procurement in leading appropriate action (multisourcing, reduce dependency)Improve our payment terms (DPO)Write, review, sign supplier contracts (LSA) including our General Terms of Purchase (GTP) working closely with the Legal DepartmentLead specific projectsEquipment managementThese missions may change/be updated as per Eurofins needs in the future.QualificationsThe Purchasing Manager must:Know all leverage to negotiate, secure and deploy a new agreementManage a close and constructive collaboration with all labsSpeak at least English (and French as an option)Know "how to lead change"Additional InformationType of contract: permanentTraveling: low, some occasional trips and maybe initially for training / onboardingAvailability: as soon as possibleRemuneration: to be defined according to the profile #J-18808-Ljbffr
