Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, you are responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day success of the Purchasing and Receiving Department.
You will lead a talented team of professionals in a luxury resort environment while fostering a culture of excellence.
What you will be doing: Manage, lead and train all Purchasing and Receiving staff.
Ensure all Purchasing and Receiving procedures and systems are in place to maintain quality, quantity, storage and cost control measures.
Estimate costs according to market prices and review bid proposals with the ability to negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations.
Manage Monthly Inventory and oversee Storeroom upkeep.
Plan, prioritize, and execute purchasing strategy.
Oversee the administration and control of national commitment contracts.
Manage supplier-partner relationships to ensure contract compliance.
Maintain professionalism in all job performance aspects.
Supervise, lead, and motivate the Purchasing team.
Ensure the achievement of financial objectives through accurate staffing and scheduling.
Qualifications: 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
Highly organized, results-oriented with flexibility under pressure.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Experience with a unionized environment is an advantage.
Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and possess a valid class 5 driver's license with clear abstract.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 USD Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
