With more than 1300 employees worldwide, we are where our customers are, supplying approved products in our customers' countries or markets and providing supply chain and customer services locally.Main responsibilities:Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for power conversion equipment componentsTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessCraft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal termsPartner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentationForecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier powerPerform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarkingAssess, manage, and mitigate risksSeek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliersMonitor and forecast upcoming levels of demandRequirements:Master's degree in electrical engineering (or similar), supply chain management or a related fieldExcellent English language skills and Spanish is a strong plus, other languages are a plus10+ years experience in purchasing in this areaProven working experience as a Purchasing Manager in the high power conversion / high power electrical equipment manufacturing industriesInterest in market dynamics along with a business senseA knack for negotiation and networkingAbility to gather and analyze data and work with figuresSolid judgement along with decision making skillsAvailable to travel 10%-30% of working timeBenefits:We have flat hierarchies and encourage direct communication between departments and management levels.
