What are we looking for?
We are actively seeking a Purchasing Manager for our Operations Department.
Given the strategic importance of our procurement operations, we are looking to connect with professionals interested in joining our team.
Building relationships with individuals who bring expertise and specialization in purchasing is essential to meet our expanding needs.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, overseeing procurement processes, and ensuring the optimization of costs and quality.
Additionally, they will represent the company at national and international conferences, lead negotiation sessions, and provide training for internal teams on procurement best practices and supplier management.
Which will be your responsibilities?
Establish internal policies regarding purchasing and assure implementation at all levels.
Maintain (including creation and renovation) a proper suppliers pool to ensure their capabilities (including technical ones), quality, lead time, and material cost are compliant with the company demands.
Negotiate with partners and suppliers.
Ensure that supplier agreements and contracts are in place.
Manage the procurement department's activities to ensure planning on the supply chain is met on time, quality, and cost.
Set and monitor key indicators for the area to track all aspects, including financial ones.
Lead, develop, and manage the procurement team, fostering their growth, improving performance, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
What do you need to be a successful candidate?
Academic background: Studies in business or engineering, with a strong preference for a master's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or an MBA.
Demonstrated experience of a minimum of 5 years as Procurement Manager in a similar position, preferably within the Electronic Device environment (Medical Devices).
Proven track record in supplier negotiation, issue solving, and cost improvement.
Fluent Spanish and English language skills in both verbal and written communication are a must.
Ability to solve problems and take prompt decisive action.
High negotiation abilities.
Self-motivated, quick learner, and results-oriented.
