Purchasing Buyer

EBRO looking for an enthusiastic Purchasing Buyer for Spain. Working within the EBRO Purchasing team, the role involves creation and management of strategic supplier relationships ensuring supply to launch our new vehicles under budget and cost reduction activities to achieve EBRO ´s targets.Your responsibilities:Supplier Management, building effective internal and external relationships.Creation of new procedures, structures, and formats to help EBRO ´s targets.Management of the sourcing & procurement activities relating to EBRO models, including the management of the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for quotation (RFQ). This activity includes quotation analysis and negotiation to support supplier decision making.Investigation of new supply markets, including assessing supplier's capabilities.Achievement of two demanding targets: ensuring supply with suppliers' portfolio under the scope of "Paint and Sealants" and identification and delivery of cost reduction in all areas of the Total Delivered Cost of the vehicle, including commercial and monozokuri.Maintaining key systems & databases to track sourcing status, cost status and purchase order changes.Management and knowledge of materials and Forex threats/opportunitiesReporting cost saving of each of the activities performed under their scope of "Commodity"Risk anticipation management and mitigation action plan creation.Your profile:Experience desired:Previous work in a dynamic situation (startup, newcomer...) where there is some uncertainty and action plans need to be created and followed.Transversal Vision (manufacturing process, quality, engineering, marketing, finance, business...). Understanding their targets and needsSAP experienceAutomotive experience is desirable.Knowledge of material improvement activities under the scope of "Commodity"Knowledge of the manufacturing processes of the scope of "Commodity" and their effect on cost.Language: English and Spanish as working language.We are one of the most challenging projects in the Automotive Industry today in Spain, relaunching an iconic brand in the market.
